The 999 display, which will be held on the Western Lawns and Wish Tower Slopes on July 5th and 6th in Eastbourne is now the largest show of its kind in the UK.
The event is managed by an organising committee from the local emergency services representing:
Sussex Police
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service
South East Coast Ambulance Service
Maritime and Coastguard Agency
the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) represented by Eastbourne Lifeboats
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of the services that all these groups provide and to provide a fun and interactive day out for all the family.
Displays
2007's event featured displays by the Eastbourne Lifeboat supported by the Coastguard Helicopter 'India Juliet' and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service plus many others.
These exciting displays make this event a must for anyone interested in the role of the emergency services.
