Cromer ILB launched at 1256 after reports of a person in difficulties very close to the Pier had been recieved.
The casualty, a female swimmer, was recovered by a small fishing boat, once the ILB was afloat she first of all approached a canoe, but then realising the casualty was not in the canoe went alongside the fishing boat and collected the female swimmer & returned to the beach, where she was met by a female police officer & members of Cromer Coastguard along with an Ambulance, fast response ambulance & a doctors car.
The female swimmer was ok & left the ambulance shortly after.
