	LondonThe Festival of Remembrance is an annual event to honour those who h
	ave paid the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country. The Festi
	val comprises a service of Remembrance and an observance of the Two Minute
	 Silence. It is also an opportunity to think about the Service men and wom
	en around the world who are putting their lives at risk protecting our pea
	ce and freedom today. There are two performances: 2.00pm performance open 
	initially to members of the Legion. From 1 September members of the genera
	l public may apply for tickets via the Royal Albert Hall Box Office\, tele
	phone 020 7589 8212. 7.00pm performance only open to Legion members and in
	vited guests\, in the presence of the Legion’s Patron\, HM The Queen and
